News on Prometheus remains in the dark. Literally. We now have an ominous poster with a space explorer approaching a giant stone head.

The film was originally intended as a direct prequel to the 1979 science fiction horror film Alien. However, the events of the film will not precede any of the previously established characters or story lines from the Alien franchise.[1][2] Filming began in March 2011, and Prometheus is scheduled for release on June 8, 2012 through 20th Century Fox".
