Other Stuff - Troll Station TV “It’s The Good S**t, The Real Good S**t”

For those in the know, you may well have started to hear the whispers over the last few days about Troll station. The new online TV comedy channel is causing controversy in the internet world after it’s launch only last week and it’s not hard to see why.
If you haven’t seen it yet then be prepared for mass food fights in the middle of KFC’s, trolleys full of champagne and wide-screen TV’s, members of the public getting harassed and police being offered bags of erm….”real shit….the good shit!”
Specialising in hidden camera pranks, sketches, parodies and generally anything to do with madness, be prepared to be shocked, crying with laughter and shaking your head in disbelief as these guys see what they can get away with and push the boundaries to the limit!
Check out other Troll Station TV videos HERE.

Feature Feature - The "Harlem Shake" Craze

When I first heard about the Harlem Shake craze earlier in the week I was surprised that the dance popularised by Diddy in the early noughties was making a resurgence....then I was much more surprised when I viewed the original video that started what is now the latest internet/Youtube sensation.

The first, Shake video can be attributed to DizastaMusic, but it was the video below by another Youtube user, TheSunnyCoastSkate, that popularised the dance, with his video currently at over 6 million views. The video also set the standard format for the over 12,000 videos that have followed.

The dance basically involves someone wearing a mask or costume of some sort dancing to the song while everyone else mulls about, then when it hits the harder part with the lyrics it cuts to everyone dancing and generally going crazy.

The Harlem shake track is actually a 2011 electronic song by producer Baauer. Check it out HERE in full. Some of the videos have been creative, hilarious, and weird; and we've had students, athletes, military officers, and office workers joining in.

Check out some of my favourite Harlem Shake videos after the cut, and you can head over to Youtube if you still want to see more of the madness. I wonder if there will be a Naija Harlem Shake video.

Random - Epic Battle :Darth Vader VS. Gandalf

Now this is for the geeks in the house (*waving hand* Present!).

SuperPowerBeatDown pins one of the biggest villains ever, Darth Vader, against Middle Earth's very own epic wizard Gandalf, in a fight to the finish...or something like that.

Hmm now who to root for?...I usually root for the bad guy, and Vader is an absolute LEGEND, but I do love Gandalf ("You Shall Not Pass!" BAWSE!)....*sigh* This is a conundrum....Lol.
Anyway, watch the video and lets know what you think of the outcome.

You can check out other battles here.
Ok forgive the geek-out, back to our regular schedule.

Random - Flavourwire.com's 10 Books That Should Be Challenged Instead Of ’50 Shades Of Grey’

Majority of us on this side of the Atlantic have not had the pleasure/pain (isnt that the BDSM point?) of reading erotic novel 50 Shades Of Grey by E. L. James. Save for two highlighted excerpts I read on ONTD, I strongly doubt I would ever read it (Mills and Boons type books aint for me, No Bueno) but it would make a rather kinky movie wont it? Lol. If you are adventurous enough you can read some naughty excerpts here.

Well, in light of the controversy surrounding the book, Flavourwire.com shared a list of books that should be challenged instead of 50 Shades Of Grey. It gave me a chuckle or two, and I thought I should share it with you guys. I have read only one book on the list and would actually like to read another. Can you guess what the two are? And please don't say Dollhouse by The Kardashians!
Check out the list after the cut.

Random - Snoop Dogg's Smokable Songbook: Rolling Words

Hmm now I'm not really surprised that this is coming out of Snoop Dogg's stable.
Snoop is planning to release a Songbook titled 'Rolling Word', that is made of hemp and can be used as rolling paper.
The book includes pages of lyrics to some of Snoop's older songs, including "Gin and Juice" and "Drop It Like It's Hot." Constructed mostly of hemp materials, the book even features a strike paper spine so that readers can light up whenever and wherever.
Rolling Words is a promotion for Snoop Dogg's Kingsize Slim Rolling Papers.

Check out the promo video and some pics after the cut.

Random: VICE & Project X's Party Legends: Snoop Dogg

"VICE loves to party. And so does Snoop Dogg. For its newest video series, PARTY LEGENDS, VICE teamed up with the upcoming feature film, Project X, and rounded up its favorite celebrities with legendary party pasts, asking them to tell us their most ridiculous party stories… then we animated them. Boom!

In the first video of VICE’s PARTY LEGENDS, Snoop Dogg goes to the Playboy mansion, hangs with some Bunnies, drinks from his Pimp Cup, and then SHIT HITS THE FAN."

"My dick is on the line right now". Lol what??

Movie Geek - The Lion King Rises & Wall-Etheus Trailers

Youtube's MovieMaestroTen created these amazing trailers for two 'not upcoming' animated movies - 'The Lion King Rises' and 'Wall-Etheus'. If they sound familar its because they are a mash up of two beloved movies with the audio from the trailers of two of the biggest upcoming movies of 2012. Can you guess what the movies are from the titles? Quite easy I know.

Check out the trailers after the jump.

Random : Told You So!

So its been revealed that Beyonce's Countdown video has similar scenes and dance moves with Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa Keersmaeker's work. Check out the comparison vid below.

Well this is rather blatant. I blame her choreographer and director sha or whoever does the conceptualisation of her videos. Beyonce you need to do a google and youtube search on whatever idea your people bring to you........unless you enjoy being ''inspired'' by other people's stuff. Lol.
